Since my sweet dog, Sadie passed away in May at almost 16 years old; I was able to find some solace knowing I'd be able to save another pitbull or pit-mix puppy from Death Row or from the evil clutches of the lowlifes who treat this misunderstood breed so terribly. I started my search for a new puppy.
I was shocked at how many there were out there for adoption. It was overwhelming! How could I ever choose one?!
And then I saw Molly. Molly (formerly Jacleen) was rescued in Wasco, grew up in a shelter and was scheduled to be euthanized because she was a terrier mix. A volunteer called the Ayaza Ranch Sanctuary in Sacramento, who stepped in and filed a plea to have her released to them. I was lucky enough to be the one to adopt her. She is a wonderful addition to our 'pack' and we love her so much already.
She is just tooooo cute!
Hats off to all shelters and rescue foundations for the work they do saving cats & dogs lives.
Anyone thinking about getting a pet, should seriously consider adopting one from a shelter or rescue foundation!

Molly and (part of) Dave in Monterrey. She has her new hot pink collar & leash on. Dave thought that should be her 'signature' color. I'm not so sure. It's kinda bright! |

My Three Dogs: Molly, Bear & Dave. At least 2 of them know how to pose for a photo! As far as the third one goes: Can't teach an old dog new tricks, I guess! I gave up after 4 tries! |
